My name is Maria, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). I am also a Certified EMDR Therapist and EMDR Consultant-in-Training.
I appreciate you stopping by my webpage. It shows that you have decided enough is enough and have the courage to take action. I applaud you on this courageous journey you have started. This bravery is a massive step for almost all of us. It is not easy to admit that you might need some help and then go a step further and action it! The good news is we will take action together so you will be supported.
Growing up as an Army Brat and then training in the Bronx & with the Army, I have been exposed to many cultures and experiences. I have witnessed the undeniable sheer will that humans have to survive, adapt, and overcome. This is what I specialize in - treating human trauma and empowering my clients to surpass surviving and achieve thriving in their environment. I believe in utilizing evidence-based treatment and other holistic therapies to empower growth and achieve whole-person healing.
